COVID - 19 Update
Weekly Preschool Classes - Because we staff & schedule our sessions based on participation levels we require a 30-day written or e-mail notice to withdrawal and can be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org . *In the event a refund is required we will apply whichever funds weren't refunded towards your account that can be used towards any future participation.
IMPORTANT LEAGUE UPDATE
We will be postponing the start of our Spring HappyFeet/Legends ISL soccer leagues for the first 2 weeks. This means games will now begin on April 18 for Edwardsville and April 13, 16, or 18 for Belleville depending on program you are registered for. Given the fluidity of the situation, we will not be announcing make up dates or decisions at this time. We will get in make ups if time allows and we don't have too many further disruptions in league dates.
We hope you understand and sincerely hope that you take care of yourselves and loved ones during this time off! Reminder that we were already scheduled to be off on April 9, 11, and 13 for Easter Holiday. We hope that resolution to this terrible situation happens sooner rather than later!

Hi HappyFeet Families!
We wanted to reach out and share updates regarding our response to the potential COVID-19 outbreak in our area. We are continuing our precautions by asking coaches to stay home if they feel sick and practice good hygiene. We are, also, disinfecting our equipment between each center to prevent the spread from area to area.
We will be continuing to offer classes in our centers when possible and will follow their lead as far as class cancellation/school closure.
If your school closes or cancels classes, we will be sending online classes weekly to do at home with your child. These are private videos only for registered HappyFeet players that will guide the child through a HappyFeet adventure; all you need is a ball (of any sort). We hope this will give your child a chance to keep up with their soccer skills and keep them active during this uncertain time.
We are aware that many school districts and/or childcare centers are closing their doors to help prevent further spread of the disease. At this time, we are going by our current policy that states if a school closes or cancels classes then the class will not be made up and refund will not be given. This policy exists as stated because we pay our coaches for their time even when the class is cancelled. This allows us to keep quality coaches as their hours/pay are not reduced due to circumstances out of their control. During this time we are looking to continue to pay our coaches so they are able to provide for themselves and their families. We understand that this is a unique situation and will be working with each individual school should they close to determine what is best for their families. This is a fluid situation and we will re-address at a later time if need be.
We do understand that childcare closures may effect individual families ability to submit payment due to reduced work hours and encourage families to reach out to us directly should that be the case. We are asking that all of our families be considerate of us and each other during this unprecedented and difficult time as we work to try and provide for both our coaches and families. If you feel that you have a unique situation, please reach out to coach Brian at the information below!
Please let us know if you have any questions and concerns and we will be in touch directly should your child's school close.
There is no greater priority to us here at HappyFeet, both locally and nationally than promoting the health and safety of our coaches and HappyFeet kids in the face of COVID-19.
In addition to enhanced health and safety procedures, we will also be leaning on the guidance of our partner schools and facilities to ensure we follow any and all steps and procedures our partner schools and facilities have implemented when we deliver our experience at their location.
At this time, we plan to continue running leagues and classes. We intend to follow the lead of other local league programs and school schedules - we will continue running programming until other programs and schools have begun to cancel. If cancellation takes place, we will begin sharing our classes with our families online so that our young soccer stars can participate from home.
Please check email and Facebook for cancellation notifications before going to league fields or classes. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at Brian@happysoccerfeet.com!
