Brian comes to HappyFeet from Sedalia, MO. Brian has played soccer since he was three years old and still enjoys playing today. Brian has played club soccer growing up in Kansas City, MO, high school varsity soccer, and was a two-time All-American in four years at Greenville College in Greenville, IL. He understands the game and has a strong desire to share his knowledge and love of the game with the young children he interacts with on a daily basis.
Kids love having Brian as a coach and look forward to the fun they have with him and the soccer ball. Coach Brian graduated from Greenville College in May of 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. Brian is also the Vice President of Southern Illinois Happy Feet/Legends but still enjoys the time he has with the little children and sharing his love of the game with them. Brian looks forward to helping build a strong soccer presence in the Southern Illinois area and using his marketing degree to develop further awareness of the program and it's benefits.
Justin Martin, Coach
Justin played his club soccer in the Alton/ Wood River area growing up and played his High school soccer at East Alton-Wood River high. He has been coaching since the early 1990s and loves the challenges and rewards that come with teaching all ages, from Pre-K and Kindergarten on up through high school age.
Justin has two children, an 9 year old son and a 14 year old daughter. He has coached both of their teams over their soccer careers. His daughter is moving on to Alton high in the fall and his son plays club soccer.
Dan Griffith, Coach
Dan comes from Collinsville, IL, where he began his love for soccer at an early age. He played high school soccer at Metro-East Lutheran High School in Edwardsville, IL, and also coached at Metro-East Lutheran HS for 4 years.
He received his Elementary Education degree from SIUE in May 2015 and has 8+ years of experience of teaching, working, and coaching children from ages 2-18. Dan has a great passion for sharing his love of soccer with all children. Dan is excited to get involved more and more with HappyFeet and watching your children grow!
Amanda Bamberger, Coach
Coach Amanda comes to us from Florissant, MO. She has been working with children for the majority of her life. She played soccer at a young age and has been coaching pee wee through high school soccer for 9 years.
She holds several coaching licences. She is enjoying her time with Southern Illinois HappyFeet and looks forward to working with your little ones.
